Mirror safety backing film

Detail:

Applied to the back of glass‑silver mirrors, it provides shatter‑resistance: when the mirror is struck and breaks, it firmly holds the sharp glass fragments, preventing them from scattering and causing injury. It is divided into two main categories: CAT I and CAT II. CAT I consists of high‑strength PE blow‑molded films, typically available in thicknesses of 70 μm, 130 μm, 150 μm, 190 μm, 210 μm, and 260 μm. When a 260‑μm explosion‑proof film manufactured by our company is applied, the resulting glass‑silver mirror meets the highest safety standards for glass‑silver mirrors as specified in the European EN 12600 standard. CAT II comprises woven fabrics, offering superior tensile strength; after application, it complies with the highest safety requirements for glass‑silver mirrors set forth in the U.S. ANSI Z97.1 standard.
