2. After installation is complete, apply wax promptly. During regular use, waxing once every three months is sufficient. In fact, waxing is not strictly necessary, but frequent waxing helps maintain the floor’s luster and extends the service life of solid wood flooring.
3. Avoid exposing wooden floors to large amounts of water; do not use acidic or alkaline liquids for cleaning, as this may compromise the finish’s gloss.
4. Avoid scratching the floor with sharp objects, do not discard cigarette butts on the floor or place extremely hot items directly on it, and try to refrain from dragging heavy furniture.
5. During use, if you notice any individual floorboards lifting or coming loose, promptly remove the affected board, scrape off the old adhesive and dust, apply fresh adhesive, and press firmly. Waxing once a month is also an effective maintenance practice; however, be sure to wipe away any moisture and dirt before applying wax.
